Alex Roxburgh Reyto is a British/ Canadian photographer whose creative practice focuses on her fascination with consciousness and the evolution of self, both collectively and individually. Her photographs are rooted in the natural world and delve into what is an ongoing enquiry regarding humanity's spiritual relationship with our earth and cosmos from an animistic point of view, exploring nature’s messages poetically and with a dreamlike, cinematographic perspective.

She holds a joint honours BA in English Literature and Media Communication from The University of Liverpool and has studied history of photography and photography theory at Ryerson University in Toronto, though is mainly self-taught. After living and working in Toronto and London, Alex currently lives in the wild Ariège region of the French Pyrènèes.

Alex shoots Interiors, Architecture and Portraiture commercially. More of her work can be found at www.alexreyto.com
